A three-minute song has so much power.
Music is one of the best ways to take steps in a more positive direction.
Blast some music and your mood is sure to improve.
2) Inspirational Quotes
I try to read a few inspirational quotes every single day. This takes no time at all. Usually, I see some quotes I love just scrolling through Instagram.
I almost always see one that resonates with me. One that makes me really reflect on something going on in my life.
3) Read
Now, reading an entire book is not at all quick. But reading a couple of pages is.
Here is a book I am currently reading. I love how it is broken down into very small sections. So I can read for 3 minutes or 30 minutes depending on how much time I have.

4) Gratitude
It is so easy to fall into a cycle of only seeing the negatives in your life. Problems seem to find a way to be front and center. And this is completely understandable.
But take a few minutes and name just a few things you are grateful for. They don’t need to be huge things. It can be anything.
5) Find a Mantra
Find a personal mantra that makes you feel good. Repeat it as often as needed!
6) Take a Break
This can mean sitting in silence for 5 minutes. Taking a few minutes to take just focus on your breath.
This could even mean taking an extra-long hot shower and focusing on nothing but the water.

Friends are so valuable. A quick chat with a friend can definitely boost your mood.

We are on our phones a lot. Some days, I know I am on my phone mindlessly scrolling for no good reason.
Put your phone down for 30 minutes and be present in your life.

This could be about someone else. Or about yourself.
Putting kindness out into the world is a great mood booster.
18) Grab Your Favorite Drink
It may seem silly but my favorite fancy coffee drink makes me happy.
Does it solve all my problems? I wish.
But your favorite drink (or food) can make things seem a little bit better.

I’m talking about one of those stretches that always has some crazy sounds that go along with it.

20) Be Productive
Choose to do something.
Maybe write out a to-do list and then work on crossing one thing off. Or start working on something you have been putting off.
21) Cuddle Up
Grab your favorite blanket (this one is super beautiful and super cozy) and cuddle up.

Give yourself a pep talk. Think about what you would say to someone else that was feeling a little down.

A date night. A girl’s night out. Even a day for yourself.

Meditation can change your mindset if you are feeling down.
