Let’s talk about some little home purchases that actually made daily life easier.
It’s almost silly to think about how random things can make everyday life a tad easier and more manageable.
I used to think that only big, expensive purchases would achieve that. I was very convinced that a giant armoire would be just the thing to make it all click.
Honestly, I can easily get sucked into the home decor vortex. I have no problem labeling things as a need instead of a major want.
That said, I am not screaming from the rooftops that the items on this list are a need with a capital N!
They are not groundbreaking or overly fancy, but I do really like them, and they serve me well time and time again.
I don’t ever look at them and think, why did I buy you? The same cannot be said for every item I’ve brought into my home. (words I’ll never say out loud to my husband)
We all have different systems that work for our lives and our homes, and sometimes those systems need a shake-up or slight alteration.
That can make it very easy to fall prey to all the products being flashed before our eyes all the dang time. (thank you, internet)
I intentionally made this list short and sweet. Honing in on practical finds that actually hold up their end of the bargain is definitely the vibe.

Our staircase basket is the perfect vessel for all the random things that need to go upstairs or be put away at some point, but don’t need immediate attention.
Or let’s be real, many days I have simply hit my threshold of walking up and down the stairs and the basket is my back-up.

I like things to have a place. Like, I really like it.
Everyone in my house does not share my exact sentiment, but my husband does agree on important things having a designated spot.

I never thought I would get so pumped about calendars. Yet, here I am at 41 years old and fully attached to them.

I have a few different variations of wall hooks around my house.
Long story short, we moved three times in three years and lived in homes of all different sizes. These have really come in clutch when we were limited on space.

There are so many different size and shape combos you could find depending on what you need.
And they manage to be both useful and nice to look at. That will always be a winning combination for me.
In the past five or so years, after all those moves I mentioned, I really stepped into my less is more era. My clutter is not my brand era.
Well, I guess you could say I was forced into it a little, but here we are and I’m thriving. (thriving in even one area counts for something)
It really can be such small, everyday things that impact life more than they have any business doing. If something helps me, I’ll take it.
I mean, I’ll take all the help I can get.
